Prolonged Sitting Health Risks

If you are reading this sitting down, you may want to stand up. A recent study from Kansas State University reveals that the more people sit each day, the greater the risk of chronic health problems such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. The relationship between sitting and disease incidence was shown to be independent of activity level, age, income, weight and height.
