Achieving the recommended amount of exercise is a sure way to optimize your health, right? Well, not necessarily. Emerging research reveals that even highly motivated exercisers face the same disease risk as their non-active counterparts if they work a desk-job.  Just like exercise doesn’t make smoking any better for you, it does not offset the effects of hours slumped in a chair.
