Unsit Standing Desk

The Unsit Walking Treadmill is paired with the new Unsit Standing Desk - optimized specifically for use with a treadmill thanks to it's 54" max height (That's 3-5" higher than most other desks in the market).

The desk features a small cutout in the front edge of the desk, designed to bring more of your desk within reach.

We also designed the Unsit to make the assembly quick and easy - even for non-handy users.  You don't need to bring any tools, and most of the work is already done for you.

The Unsit Standing Desk is available in 2 sizes:

  • 48" x 24" Compact Desk - This desk was specifically designed with the home office in mind - or for people that plan to use the treadmill desk as a secondary workstation.  It won't take up much space in your office, but keep in mind that it also doesn't offer a lot of work space.

  • 60" x 30" Executive Desk - This desk features an extra large work surface designed to better serve as a primary workstation.  You'll have plenty of space for large monitors or extra work items.

Shipping Details:

All UnSit Treadmill Desks ship from our warehouse in Indianapolis.  Orders typically ship within 2 business days, and can take anywhere from 2-10 days in transit.

NOTE: CURRENT LEAD TIMES ARE HIGHLY VARIABLE WITH ALL CARRIERS

We now ship all US orders exclusively with AIT, to ensure that all shipments will be delivered consistently and with good care - and to give you the added benefit of full tracking transparency (most other freight carriers don't offer great shipment tracking).

There are three different shipping options for you to choose from:

  1. CURBSIDE DELIVERY (FREE)
The Freight Carrier will deliver the Treadmill Desk onto your property, but they will not be obligated to get it inside your home or office.

  2. INSIDE DELIVERY ($199)
The Carrier will call and schedule a time window and the driver will move the boxes inside your home or office to a room of your choice. NOTE: In commercial office buildings the driver is only obligated to bring the treadmill past the “first threshold” of the building. They may not bring it up elevators or down long corridors.

  3. WHITE GLOVE SERVICE ($499)
InMovement will contract with a qualified treadmill technician in your area, ship your Treadmill Desk to them and they will schedule an appointment, assemble and install your new Treadmill Desk where you want it. The White Glove Service provider will remove the shipping carton and materials.

The Unsit Treadmill is packaged in a sturdy carton and strapped - along with the Unsit Standing Desk - to a custom wood pallet for secure handling by the freight company. Once the treadmill ships, we will email you a tracking number (aka; PRO number). The freight company should call you to schedule a delivery but you can speed things up by calling the freight company when you receive your tracking number and schedule a delivery date. With curbside service the truck driver is only obligated to deliver the pallet onto your property. Sometimes they will help move it all the way inside but typically they will leave it on your driveway or move it into a garage if easily accessible. (See notes about Curbside Service or White Glove Service above).

Once on your property, cut the black bands that hold the treadmill to the pallet. You can either unpack the treadmill and wheel it in on a dolly or on the treadmill’s front wheels, OR, two people can carry the whole box inside by lifting the carton by the yellow bands, then unpack it once inside. In some cases, it is better to move the treadmill in while it is still in the carton as you can drag the carton on its side and the treadmill will be protected. In other cases it is better to remove the treadmill from the carton outside and have two strong people carry and wheel it in.

Returns:

We’re so confident you’ll love your Unsit Treadmill that if you’re not happy in the first 30 days you can return it for a FULL REFUND, minus the cost of shipping.

Here's how it works:

If you purchased direct from InMovement, e-mail us for a written authorization/approval. To receive your refund or credit, you MUST CONTACT InMovement via email within 30 DAYS of receiving delivery of the treadmill desk.

InMovement will setup the return shipment and arrange for pick up from your location.  Please allow for 5-10 business days for scheduling and pickup.

You are responsible for the cost of the return freight to InMovement, which varies from $250 - $500, depending on your location.

Items must be returned un-damaged and in new condition and MUST BE REPACKED IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING and on the ORIGINAL PALLET.  Without the packaging and pallet, we have to send a white glove service with a custom pallet to come to your location and re-package the treadmill before returning the shipment.  This can add as much as $400 - $500 to the cost of the return.

*If you have any uncertainty about keeping your treadmill, please make sure you keep the original packaging and pallet until you decide to keep the treadmill*

Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect the treadmill and then credit your purchase using the original form of payment within five business days of receiving the product at our warehouse. Added delivery and installation fees will NOT be refunded (i.e. white glove or inside delivery).

Love the extra width and the wobble stool

I’ve been using the desk treadmill and wobble stool for a few weeks and LOVE both. The extra width on the walking platform is helpful as my balance is a little off while I recover from foot surgeries. Walking very slowly is helping me strengthen my feet and become more active after months of non weight bearing after the foot surgeries, and the simple controller is way to use. I’m looking forward to using the Unsit for many years - it was worth the investment for me. I also bought the wobble stool & love being able to move my body even when I’m sitting.

Mmmm

Astonishing to think that for such an expensive device there is little to zero interest in supplying a functional app for this product. I understand that the first version of the app was barely working, and it has been withdrawn from the Play Store. Now we have had months of messaging on the website site to confirm that v2 of the app is "coming soon" but it appears to be vapourware with no confirmed dates for release. You would have thought that at the very least they could have allowed a beta version to be downloaded off the website which could then be side-loaded onto one's phone pending the definitive v2 release. Such a shame...

Hopefully a good treadmill, but with some glaring flaws

Bought a $350 treadmill off Amazon and it broke down after six months of using it 3-4 hours day. So bought another brand around that price point, and it also broke down within a few months. Continuing to buy cheaper treadmills seemed wasteful both from a financial and materials standpoint (treadmills are a big thing to throw away and send to the dump), so I decided to invest in a nicer treadmill that's made to last and take hours of daily use. The Unsit seemed like the only treadmill out there that fit the bill.

I've only had it a couple months, so I can't yet speak to its longevity. But I can speak to several of its flaws.

First, it doesn't tell you how fast you're going. To increase or decrease your speed, you turn a dial, which looks like a technology out of 1999, which only shows unlabeled hash marks. It does not tell you your mph. There is also, inexplicably, no read-out/display that shows how long you've been walking or have far you've walked. This seems like the most basic of basic features to include on a treadmill; in fact, I didn't even bother looking to see if it had this display before purchasing the treadmill, because I figured if a $300 treadmill had that feature, surely a $2500 treadmill would. Maybe this kind of data is available on the (seemingly much maligned) app, but I have no interest in using an app to see how long I've been walking on a treadmill. In fact I have no interest in using an app to use a treadmill in general.

Another flaw is the fact that the belt stops automatically as soon as you step off the treadmill. This is highly annoying. What it means in practice is that if I want to step off the treadmill to, say, talk to someone for a minute, or to grab a pencil off a table a few feet away, I have to let the treadmill belt stop, and then press the start button again, and then wait for it to get back up to speed once I hop back on. You should, as with every other treadmill I ever used in my life, be able to jump on and off the treadmill while keeping the belt running.

Other than these flaws, the treadmill seems smooth and sturdy, and if it does in fact last for years without burning out and breaking down, then that will outweigh these head-scratching design choices and the purchase will have been worth it. Here's hoping!

One of the best purchases I've made!

I ordered the treadmill + desk combo and WOW!!! I cannot say enough good things! I researched treadmill desks for months before pulling the trigger, and I have ZERO buyer's remorse. The packaging upon delivery was phenomenal, the quality of the product (treadmill and desk) is exceptional, sturdy, and sleek (you get what you pay for), the customer service team is responsive and helpful, and the product is a game-changer for my working style, health, and concentration. I love the extra treadmill width provided by Unsit and definitely make use of it frequently. My biggest hesitancy before purchasing was the max speed of 2pmh, especially when purchasing a premium product and noting there are competitor treadmills that go up to 4pmh. BUT, I can now confidently say that if I were walking faster, my productivity would decline. So in the end, I think the 2pmh speed is perfect and even helps the motor last longer. IF I had to make a constructive criticism (nobody's perfect, right??), the app and synchronization with my iPhone and Apple Watch is not intuitive / poor quality / does not really work. However, I think the InMovement team already knows this and is releasing a much-needed app update soon. I also wish the Apple Watch or Fitbit could somehow track treadmill desk workouts, but it's challenging since your arms don't move enough. Also, one picky thing, but it would be nice if the accompanying desk had integrated outlets or a place for a docking station, but you can of course pair the treadmill with any wide-enough standing desk you like. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've made, and I am so excited for many, many steps and miles ahead. Thank you to the InMovement team for an awesome product! I've been spreading the word to everyone I know ;)

Using Unsit Under Desk Treadmill as I type this review

I almost purchased a cheaper walking pad/treadmill, but I was discouraged by the narrow treads on them. Because of this, I reluctantly purchased the Unsit Under Desk Treadmill. I was reluctant because of the high price. I am so glad I did. I wanted something that was well made with a large walking surface area. This accomplishes that in every way. I have walked and worked about 3-4 miles per day for the past 3 weeks. I am getting use to the walking/typing. It's not bad once you do it for about 1 week. As an attorney I type a lot. This was a concern of mine, but it's doable.

Get this treadmill. Take care of your health. It's well made, stable and large. I highly recommend and am considering getting one for my home office too.
